  1. Thank you for doing this. I was hoping that this music would see hi-def release, but the lack of any booklets included with the downloads kept me from making the jump until I saw this site.

I'm having trouble parsing some of the vocalists though. I don't see any indication of who is singing on "Stars" either in the roster or the note appended to the song title.

Then there is/are the 21 December session(s). No vocalist is listed in the roster, but three songs have "vAHa" appended. Looking over at https://ellingtonia.com/discography/1931-1940/ I see 7 January 1933 session with Adelaide Hall singing the same songs as the first of the Dec. sessions, so I guess I'll await the next album release all the more eagerly. "Delta Bound" also has a "vAHa" marking, but the voice sounds different to me, and the singer is given elsewhere as Ivie Anderson (https://secondhandsongs.com/work/211369/all).

I don't mean to lay this at your feet. I'm new to this music, so perhaps I'm bringing up anew old issues on the scene, and I beg your pardon. Thanks again for what you've put together here.

    1. Thank you very much for your input. You are quite right on the comments you have made and I have now updated the discography for Volume 4 accordingly. Any further observations, please comment - it is very helpful. I checked the discography against that provided by Mosaic Records for their Complete Columbia/ Brunswick/ Master Recordings 1932-40. Whilst Ellington In Order encompasses also any sides the band recorded for RCA, it is a helpful check for Volume 4 and the next few volumes forthcoming for the In order series. The link to that discography his here:
