Ellington Galaxy is a new configuration of the website of The Duke Ellington Society of Sweden.
Whilst membership of DESS is recommended in order to take full advantage of the extensive resources the website has to offer, the creator of the site, Ulf Lundin, has ensured that the site has much interest for everyone from the most seasoned Ellington aficionado to someone who who is interested in Ellington and only just discovering his music.
This new iteration as Ellington Galaxy takes that provision to a new level. With its clean, professional, modern interface, the website now represents an unparalleled portal into the worlds of Ellingtonia across the Internet, linking as it does to the most important biographical and discographical resources on Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and their work. We will be support this endeavour fully as the scope of Ellington Galaxy ever expands.
